Gilbert laughed out. “The ducks aren’t annoyed by the music! That’s ridiculous!” He grinned as he explained, “I tried to scare the shit outta ‘em. Ya know, ran at them, flailing my arms.” As he explained, he moved his arms about- to demonstrate what he meant. “I made ‘em…
“Uh..Thanks…” Gilbert replied halfheartedly as she dropped the subject, and he watched her, distracted, as she walked toward the birds. ‘The hell is she doing..?’ He wondered, furrowing his brow in confusion. Seeing her pick up the duck was odd in itself- considering how they could be nasty things when they wanted- but as she walked over, duck held in her hands, he started to bring his knees up closer to himself.
And the next thing he knew, she’d ran away, and he had a pissed off duck on his lap. “Was zur Hölle?!” Came his quick sputter of words as he pushed the duck off and stood up quickly, aware that the bird was still pissed off at him. Starting to get away, and watching the duck follow him, he glared at it and spat, “Buzz off, bird.” The duck squawked, making Gilbert jump a bit and stalk off away from the creature. Finding Maren, he gave an unamused smile to her and said, “Real mature,” as he walked by her, shaking his head. Really, the only reason ANY of this happened was because of music. Ridiculous.
“No worries, man,” he assured. He thought about what to tell him about his family, and settled on just telling about his brother. “Well, I have a cool little bruder. He goes to this school.” He then shrugged. “My family’s not all that interesting, really.” His brother…
“No siblings, huh?” He clarified. “A gift or a curse, depending on how you look at it. But really, it depends on the day,” he explained with a shrug. There were days when he just didn’t want to be with his brother, and days when he wanted to spend the day with him. Really just depended on the bond. Gilbert looked at the other, lightly tapping Antonio’s shoulder. “Hey, dude, do you wanna go do something? It’s starting to get boring sitting around.”
He shook his head. “Nope!…Wait…Hmm..” He couldn’t remember many times he was around animals, and surely didn’t remember any reactions. “Uh….Eh, I’m too awesome to have allergies.” He decided smugly. He didn’t know, and he didn’t care. He followed right by Ludwig’s side as he began to walk, and was entirely oblivious to the others tightening grip on the backpack straps. “You’re not allergic, right?” He asked for clarification.“Right. You’re not allergic to animals, though?” He doubted it, but he never bothered to ask before. He didn’t want to bring Gilbert to the pet shop if he was going to sneeze everywhere. As he waited for a response, he began to walk again. He squeezed the backpack straps a little tighter than usual, though he hoped Gilbert didn’t notice, as he was sure to get embarrassed again if he did.
“I made ‘em like that on purpose.” He said, as if that was an amazing reasoning. At the girls next statement, he nodded thoughtfully as he mulled this over. “Ja, it wouldn’t make sense to run me over if you could get in trouble with the law…Unless you could get away with it, of course.” He added. If he could get away with it, he knew he’d run some people over. Gil rolled his eyes. So she was one of those kinda people- goin on about respect. “It don’t matter if someone’s your teacher. They can still be your teacher and be a stick in the mud,” he pointed out. “And if you don’t believe I know what respect is, then that’s your own problem.” He finished with a shrug of disregard.Maren’s scowl only deepened as she watched him, not really seeming to care a whole lot about what she had to see. She rolled her eyes at his seemingly sarcastic remark. ‘Is he really that clueless?’ She thought as she replied to him.”It’s a disturbance to everyone around you. Look at all those damn ducks”— She gestured melodramatically toward the flock of cowering water fowl.— “Even they’re annoyed by it.”
“I’m not actually going to run you over with a truck. That’s illegal,” Maren said, an annoyed undertone in her voice as she mulled over whether or not that was the only reason she couldn’t do it — of course it wasn’t the only reason, but it was an entertaining thought.“And they aren’t ‘sticks in the mud’, they’re your damn teachers. You obviously musn’t know what respect is.”
“Can’t wait!” He boasted with a grin. He nodded. “Exactly! Though, I’m still lookin. With any luck I’ll find something sooner or later.” He watched the other, and shook his head. “Woah woah, dude. Toni…No need for the ‘Mr’. Really. Formalities are not needed.” That was…

He goes to this school.” He then shrugged. “My family’s not all that interesting, really.” His brother was the only one worth mentioning in his head. “What about yours?”
Gil rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face as his brother repeated ‘dude’. It was just how he spoke! He looked down at his bag. “Uh, yeah. I wouldn’t mind putting my bag away.” The albino stopped walking when he saw his brother trip. He snickered, and was ready to help up…
He got up shortly after Ludwig did, and began wiping off his pants and jacket to make sure nothing was on them. He saw the blush forming on the other and he was tempted to laugh again, but refrained himself. That didn’t keep a smirk from forming, though. But he could pass it off as him just being a cheeky son-of-a-gun. “Dude, Ludwig, it’s fine. Really, I don’t mind.” He was never one to mind if someone fell on him. He knew it was an accident. Even if it wasn’t, what would he care? “Lets just go to the dorms, ‘kay?”
Gil opened his eyes when he saw an odd shadow flickering outside of his eyelids. He let his crimson eyes fall upon the blonde girl and a small smirk played off his lips. ‘What is the girl so pissed about?’ He’d thought. It never occurred to him that it was the music, as…
Gilbert simply watched the girl as she spoke, scratching the back of his neck as he listened. His music wasn’t that loud- or at least, he didn’t think so. It was the volume he normally had it at. He was surprised at how soft the girls voice was, especially since she was trying to scold him. “Uh, no? I don’t know.” He looked down at his iPod and continued, “Full blast I think.” He chuckled. “Why would you run a truck over me? That’s a silly thing to do,” he commented. Why would she drive a truck over someone she didn’t know? Silly. “It’s hardly a disturbance. I mean, you’re the only person to ever complain about it…Except for maybe the professors, but they’re sticks in the mud anyway,” he finished dismissively. He really didn’t see any problem with it!
He shrugged. “If ya want, go for it. ‘M certainly not protesting it.” He’d be interested to hear what Toni could do. To the others question, he simply shrugged. “I dunno. I mean, it’s interesting enough, and I’m not exactly bad with it, I just couldn’t find what I wanted…
“Can’t wait!” He boasted with a grin. He nodded. “Exactly! Though, I’m still lookin. With any luck I’ll find something sooner or later.” He watched the other, and shook his head. “Woah woah, dude. Toni…No need for the ‘Mr’. Really. Formalities are not needed.” That was definitely something he could do without. Gil shrugged, continuing. “Welp, I’m an open book! So what do you wanna know?”
“If you wanna go to the store then we can. Don’t bother me none.” He wasn’t going to do anything today, except for maybe study and hang around with his roomie. But when he got back to his flat, it wouldn’t be until later that he did his work. Not because he was lazy,…

He snickered, and was ready to help up the other, but saw that he didn’t need it. “You ok-?” He was asking, but fell back on his rear when his brother fell back onto him. He blinked, then laughed. He didn’t move to get up, but looked to his brother, asking, “Are you alright, Luddy?”
Gilbert was glad the other had agreed. Ah~! Some good old quality time with his brother. He followed him without hesitation and began to think. Well, anything he’d say might be too boring or over the top for the other, or it just wouldn’t interest him in general. He…
“If you wanna go to the store then we can. Don’t bother me none.” He wasn’t going to do anything today, except for maybe study and hang around with his roomie. But when he got back to his flat, it wouldn’t be until later that he did his work. Not because he was lazy, but…Okay, half of it was laziness, but the other half was simply that he needed time to get in the working mood, so to speak. He would much rather be out and about than doing that stuff, and he did want to spend time with his baby brother. Even if it was shopping, it was brother time.
Gilbert’s face lit up slightly at the mention of a pet store, much as a child’s would. He loved pets, but he wasn’t aware there was a store around here. “Pet store? Dude, that sounds awesome! We should go there. And if you wanted, afterwards we can go to the store for your cake ingredients,” he offered. There wasn’t any reason that they couldn’t, unless the pet store took too long and it became too late in the day- but that shouldn’t be a problem.
